一、教学目标(Teaching aims) 通过Look and read，帮助学生综合运用一般现在时及There be句型介绍生活环境及其差异。 二、教学重难点(Teaching points and difficulties) 1.

词汇学习：theatre, enjoy oneself, get … in 2.

句型复习：There are a lot of tall buildings in the city. 三、教学准备(Teaching preparation) 课件、音频（教师可以在优教平台直接调用或下载）。

四、教学过程(Teaching process) Pre-task preparations 1. 小组比赛。把全班同学分成两大组，快速出示千以内的数字给第一组的学生看（第二组的学生不能看），请第一组中的一个学生用英文大声念出该数字，再请第二组中的一个学生在黑板上用阿拉伯数字写出该数字。如果两个学生都对，每组各得一分；如果错，不得分。

T: (show the number 198 to Group 1) What number is it? S1 (from Group 1): It’s one hundred and ninety-eight. (S2 from Group 2 writes 198 on the blackboard) 2. 请一个学生介绍自己和家人的身髙体重，然后教师询问其他学生关于该学生家人的身髙、体重的情况。 S1: My father is 175 centimetres tall and weighs 72 kilograms. My mother is 162 centimetres tall and weighs 54 kilograms. I’m 156 centimetres tall and I weigh 48 kilograms. T: How tall is (S1’name)’s father? S2: He’s 175 centimetres tall. T: How much does he weigh? S3: He weighs 72 kilograms. While-task procedures 1. 请两个学生先表演Listen and say中的对话。然后出示Look and read的图片，教师提问引出Look and read的学习内容。 T: Joe, where do you live? Joe: I live in the city. T: Do you like living in the city? Joe. Yes, I do. It’s very beautiful. T: Can you show us a picture of your city? Joe: Yes. This is the picture of my city. (point to the corresponding picture) 然后，教师根据图片说出文字内容在复习There be句型的同时，在黑板上板书新词汇theatre。 用同样的方法教学Look and read中的第二段内容。根据实际情况，也可让学生自己阅读，然后教师用提问的方式教学。 2. 请学生跟读新词汇，教师视具体兄提问。 Ss: Theatre. T: What do people do in a theatre? S1: People see films in a theatre. S2: People watch plays and shows in a theatre. T: Is there a theatre near your home? S3: Yes, there is. T: Do you often go to the theatre? S3: I sometimes go to the theatre with my parents. 3. 出示Look and read的图片，播放录音，学生边听边看图片，并根据录音内容指出相应场所。再次播放录音，学生逐句跟读。鼓励学生尽量模仿录音中人物的语音语调。然后让学生两人一组分别描述反馈练习中的关于城市和农村的图片。鼓励学生以对比的方式描述城乡差异。 S1: There are a lot of tall buildings in the city. S2: There are some houses with yards in the countryside.

4. 请每对同桌分别选择扮演Joe和George 的角色，介绍各自的居住地。教师在教室内来回巡视，如果学生有困难，及时给予帮助。

Post-task activities 1. 让学生两人一组介绍自己居住的地方。要求学生用There be句型讲述自己居住的地方有哪些场所及人们在这些场所做哪些事。 S1: There’s a park near my home. People go to the park and play ball games there. S2: There’s a river near my home. People go fishing in the river. … 2. 请学生描述自己居住的小区或地区。教师可以视具体情况决定是否要给予提示或帮助。 S1: Hello. I’m… I live in/on … (city/street). It’s a small/big town. /It’s a busy/quiet street. There are toy shops, clothes shops and flower shops. I like visiting the toy shops. There are two fruit shops in the neighborhood. There are some restaurants too.
