1. 能掌握新单词: noisy ,too loud, lorry, drill, bus, car, motorbike等单词。

2. 能够通过句型I can hear…表达所听到的声音。

3. 能够通过对话问答Which place is quiet? What can you do in it? 4. 能够根据自己的喜好选择一首小诗进行朗读,感受城市静下来的美好。

5. 通过分组朗读拓展文本,加深学生对上海这座城市的认同感,激发减少噪音建设美好家园的愿景。

Shanghai, my hometown Shanghai is my hometown. It is a busy place. I can hear buses, cars, bikes in the street. I can hear motorbikes, lorries and drills too. Sometimes it’s too loud outside. Our city is a noisy place.

But it’s not noisy everywhere. The library is quiet. I can read good books in it. The classroom is quiet. I can do my homework in it. My home is quiet. I can chat with my family there.

When the city is quiet, I can hear baby laughing. I can hear mummy humming. I can hear daddy snoring. How nice! When the city is quiet, I can hear birds singing. I can hear wind blowing. I can hear rain falling. How nice! Shanghai is a nice city. I love Shanghai! I love my hometown!
