Ability aims: Master new sentence and act the dialogue. Emotion aims: Tell the students listen carefully and use English in life. Important points:
1. Listen and read “red, green, yellow, blue”
2. Listen, read and say “What color is it? It’s… May I have a look?”
Difficult Points:
1. Read words and sentences. 2. Act the dialogue in pairs. Teaching Procedure: Step 1: Warm up. 1.
Greetings. T:Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, Miss Zhang.
T: Let’s play a game, OK? Ss: OK. 2. Listen and do.(Stand up, clap hands, touch your …) Step 2: Revision.
1. Read the words together. 2. Act the dialogue. Step 3: Presentation and drill.
1. Show a picture and ask “What color is it?” then write the word on the blackboard. 2. The same way to teach “green, yellow, blue” and write them on the blackboard. 3. Read the words one by one. 4. Tell the students write new words on the exercise-book twice. 5. Play a game “What’s missing?”
6. Show a “robot”
and say “I have a robot.”
Ask “What color is it?”
7. Make dialogues with students. 8. Show new dialogue and ask students listen. 9. Play the tape, listen and repeat.
10. Practice the dialogue in pairs.
Step 4: Practice.
1. Listen and read the dialogue sentence by sentence after the tape. 2. Act the dialogue in pairs. Step 5: Consolidation.
1. Extension Read the words and new sentences together. 2. Sum up. Read and act the dialogue. 3. Homework. Practice new words and the dialogue after class.
