一、教学目标

1、能听说、认读新词：nine,ten,eleven,twelve 2、能听懂、会说、认读Happy birthday to you! How old are you?I’m nine. 3、学唱英文歌曲“Happy birthday to you!”

二、教学重点、难点

1、学会对年龄进行问答。

2、熟练掌握数词的用法。

3、区分How old are you?和How are you ? 三、教具准备

Step 1 Warming up 1.Greetings 2.Sing a song..“Ten fingers.”

3.Let’s review.

①Say the numbers quickly. ②Ask and answer in pairs.

“What’s your number?”

Step 2 Presentation 1.

Show a picture of a clock and teach some numbers.

Show a picture of a birthday cake and talk about it. “Who is the birthday cake for?”

3.Listen to the tape and answer the question: 4.Sing a birthday song for Annie. 5.Listen to the tape again and answer: “How old is Annie ?”

6.Listen again and answer. What should we say for her birthday ? Step 3
