教学内容：Unit 5，Book Ⅷ(1) 课前反思：在之前两个单元的学习中，学生已经基本掌握了一般过去时的表达以及动词过去式的变化规则，为本课的学习打下了一定的基础。

教学目标：

知识目标：

1、To enable students listen,read and write the phrases: went to a party, sang and danced, played games, read a storybook, saw a film. 2、To make students use the sentences: What did you do last weekend? I went a birthday party. 3、Know about the rules of “Listen and read”. 能力目标：

1、Through listening, reading, role play, making dialogues students can listen，read and act out the dialogues even to recite the context.

2、Through learning the whole text,we can let the students write a little composition about themselves according to their learning in the class. 3、Sing the song “Happy Birthday to You”. 4、Be able to understand “Read and write”.

情感目标：

1. To understand the cultural customs of the birthday parties in English-speaking countries. 2. To respect the way of communication between our country and others in daily life. 教学重点：

To create real environment to use the sentences: What did you do last weekend? I went a birthday party. 教学难点：

The writing and use of verbs in the past, especially the irregular changes of the past tense. 教具准备: word cards, courseware，books, teaching tools. 教学时间：2课时

一、复习检测（检测学过的一些形容词，以为本课做以铺垫）

二、新课传授

1.巧妙导入：Greet the students by using the everyday English. Through a question “What did you do yesterday?”, lead in the new class. 2.引出主题：The teacher makes students ask and answer in pairs to review some old knowledge. 3.解决难点：

一、Words and Sentences Study 1. Take out the pictures of new phrases: went to a party, sang and danced, played games, read a storybook, saw a film. 2. By watching the pictures, lead the students to ask and answer: What did you do yesterday? I went to a party/sang and danced/played games/read a storybook/saw a film. 4.听音感知： T: It’s break time. Linda and Billy are talking in the classroom. What did Linda do last weekend? Listen and get the answer.

5.默读初始： Read silently and fill in the blanks in groups. 6.朗读探知：Read loudly and answer the questions. 7.听音跟读：Listen and try to read after the tape. 8.角色朗读：小组读、男女读、开火车读、领读、师生对读、角色读。

9.留白处理：留白读，去掉文中关键词让学生填空读。
