3. We need a singer. Who is the best singer? 四、Teaching Steps Step Ⅰ.

1. Listening 1)Look at the pictures: A: Who are they? B: What is Jenny good at? 2)Listen to the tape .Please find out the new words. 2. Studying

1) Learn the new words: talent show/something interesting/guitar player/participate (in)/myself 2) Learn the dialogue: What will you do? Why don’t you play the guitar?

3) Expanding: Why don’t you do sth? = Why not do sth? 3. Acting A: Hi, how are you? B: Hi, I’m fine, thank you.

A: The talent show ing soon. What will you do? B: I want to do something interesting. A: You are a good singer. Why don’t you sing a beautiful song?

B: I don’t want to do it by myself. Step Ⅱ.

1. Listening Q: Ask student to say something that they heard. 2. Studying
