Vocabulary Revision ——“T”

By Songhui in No.7 Middle School Targets: 1. Get clear the unfamiliar but important words which begin with the letter “T”, such as

target, tease, temporary, tendency, tense, territory, theft, thorough, tolerant, toll, transform, trilogy, troop, trumpet, tunnel.

2. Get clear some useful T-phrases and T-sentence patterns.

3. Use the words, phrases and sentence patterns through practice.

Procedure: Stage and time Warmer Lead-in (1) and Aim Arouse the students’

interest and make the goal clear.

Hand out worksheet and provide instructions. List the T-words on the screen.

Present an example in the form of a multichoice. Make comments on the students’

practice with encouragement and praise. List some useful T-phrases and T-sentence patterns.

Present an example in the form of a composition. The activities of the students Guess the puzzle and know what to do in class.

Work in group to get clear the words listed.

Realize the importance of unfamiliar words. Work individually to make right choices according to the sentence context. Work in group to get clear the phrases and sentence patterns.
