Module 4 Unit 3 Tomorrow’s World Reading Teaching objectives: 1.Knowledge objects: 1)to learn some information about how RealCine works, why it is better than ordinary cinema, and how it can be used in many other ways. 2)to know some words and expression. 2.Ability objects: to master the reading strategies and use these strategies to finish exercise.(2012年高考阅读简答). 3.Moral object: Let students know the magic product and know the power of the science. and encourage them to study hard to change the world by using science knowledge that they learn.

Teaching aids: The multimedia a blackboard a red carnation (康乃馨)

Teaching procedures: Step 1 Revision Have a competition. Divide the students into two groups-boy team and girl team , a boy and a girl present each group to dictate the words and expressions. The student can write more words wins the competition. The lose team should sing a song the next day. 设计目的：通过两大组分别选一个代表的竞赛并要输对下节课前唱歌的方式激发学生学习的兴趣，同时这两个同学听写在后面黑板上而不是前面黑板上，其他同学也听写在作业本上达到也检查了所有同学的目的。

Step2 lead-in Play a game. The teacher asks one student to go to the front and to feel a red carnation in the screen ,he will feel nothing. Then let him wear a pair of glasses ,a headset and a glove and then let him feel a real red carnation. He will feel it. The teacher explains the product. let students understand the product. 设计目的：由于这篇文章介绍的一种产品同学们不好懂，我就设计了这样一个引入环节：通过让一个学生先摸一下在屏幕上的一朵康乃馨的照片，然后再让他带

上老师准备的眼镜，耳机和手套后闭上眼睛，同时让所有同学闭上眼睛，老师再拿出一朵真实的康乃馨，让学生明白戴上这些设备后那些屏幕上的东西就会感觉很真实。这样就让他们更容易理解RealCine产品。

Step 4 Discussion Give students several minutes to discuss the questions and the teacher walks around and helps the students if necessary. 设计目的：学生通过讨论自己思考归纳阅读简答问题的一些方法策略，锻炼自主解决问题的能力。
