教学目标：

1. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写词汇future, an astronaut, spaceship, care about,the World Cup, pianist, writer, dancer等。

2. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写句型What do you want to be in the future? I want to be a/an... 3. 能熟练地读懂课文，并运用相关的句型谈论自己的梦想。

4. 能从小确立自己的梦想，并为了自己的梦想而努力奋斗！

教学重点：

能运用相关的句型谈论自己的梦想。

教学过程：

Step1: Greetings Step2: Warming-up 1.Show the teacher's photos

T: When I was a little girl, I wanted to be a teacher. It was my dream. Now I am a teacher. My dream comes true.

Teach the new words and phrase.(dream, come true) 2. Play a game--Magic eyes: Say the names of some jobs Step3: Pre-reading 1. Learn more jobs

pianist, dentist,astronaut, writer, dancer, football player 2. Learn how to change the verbs into nouns. Do some exercise. 3. Teach the sentence pattern.

T: Here are so many interesting jobs. What do you want to be in the future?

S: I want to be a/an...

T: Why?

S: Because... Step4: While-reading 1. Show the children in the dialogue.

T: Here are some children here. What do they want to be in the future? Let's watch a cartoon. Then try to match the pictures. 2. Check out the answers.

S: ... wants to be a/an... 3. T: Why do they want to be those? Read the dialogue carefully. Try to underline the reasons. 4. Check out the answers.

S: ...want to be a/an... Because.../... wants to...

Teach the new words and phrases. Say the sentences as more as they can. 5. Read the dialugue after the TV. 6. Try to read it by themselves. 7. Try to retell the dialogue. Fill in the blanks. Step5: Post-reading 1. Try to translate some sentences. 2. Read them. 3. Try to write down your own dreams. 4.Tell a idiom. Every life is a boat, and the dream is the boat sail. 每个人的生命都是一只小船，梦想是小船的风帆。

Step6: Homework 1. Read the text after the tape three times and try to recite it. 2. Copy the new words and phrases four times.
