Students: Good afternoon,Miss Ge. Teacher: How are you today? Students: I’m fine, thanks. 2.Review:students say and do together:Let’s do in part A. 3.Show some pictures:dog,panda,elephant,tiger,monkey,and a ostrich, the teacher ask: “What’s this?” Students answer: “It’s a......”

Ⅱ.Presentation 1. Show a picture of ostrich, and and ask students to observe it. Then the teacher say: “Look at its head,the head is very small.”At the same time, the teacher point at her own head. Teach the new word “small”,write it on the blackboard, and point out “It has a small head.”

Blackboard design Unit3 At the zoo small 小的 It has a small head. big 大的 It has a big body. short 短的 It has a short tail. long 长的 It has long legs. 教学反思：本节课采取了全身反应教学法和游戏法，在教学活动中设计了许多游戏，充分调动了学生的各个身体部位和感官，学生的参与积极性较高。学生口语练习的机会较多，单词和句子掌握也较熟练。但由于紧张，有一环节的教学道具没有及时使用，欠缺教学机智。还有部分学生的参与度还不够。教学时间掌握的也还不够好。在今后的教学实践中，需要改进的还有很多。
