Step 1: Ｗarming up 1.Free talk: Where did you go ? Did you go to foreign country ? Do you want to know about foreign country? Do you know in which country there is a kangaroo?(教师做动作让学生去猜) --in Australia What else animals do they have ? A koala. Ok ,let’s go to Australia today show some flags and ask Ss to say the countries

从animal weather sport 等方面入手教授单词，在教授的过程中注意

Step 2: Presentation 1.Watch the cartoon and find the answers. How can they know about Australia? 2.Show some pictures to teach the new words

kangaroo koala这两个单词的拼读。

课后反思：

本课先通过出示一些国家的国旗让学生说出国家名，在此基础上引出Australia，进行多方面谈论澳大利亚，在谈论的过程中教授了单词，在教授的过程中虽分段教授单词，但是学生对于kangaroo这个单词的拼写存在问题，在koala这个单词的读音上存在问题，还需要多巩固。在课文的学习中先处理了前半部分，让学生找出如何知道澳大利亚的知识的，接着让学生围绕几个方面来学习后半部分，在课文的学习上条理比较清晰，学生接受起来也较容易。接下来还需要通过练习加以巩固。
