1、复习1—3单元词汇the UK, Canada, the USA,China...等等，并能正确分成国家名、家庭成员、形容词和其他四类。

2、复习句型where are you from? Who’s that boy?等以及其回答，并能在真实的日常情境中灵活运用。

3、复习描述动物特征的句型：It is (so)…/It has …

4、能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解Read aloud对话大意。

5、能够通过图片和教师的讲解理解Listen and chant部分歌谣。

6、培养学生养成自主学习的好习惯以及做文明有礼的好孩子。

难点：如何灵活运用1—3单元词汇及句型。

五、教学过程

Warm-up 1.Greeting. 2.Let 's chant & sing. Step 2

Lead in 1.

Talk about the chants and song, lead to Recycle 1. 2.

Divide the students in two groups to learn Recycle 1. 3.

Review the new words in Units 1-3 by games. (1)Read the words by train. (2)Read loudly and lightly. (3)Word bomb. (4)Word classification. Step 3 Consolidation 1.

Watch the flash and try to answer four questions: (1)Who’s that boy? (2)Where is John from? (3)Who is the tall girl? (4)Why is Wang Tong so tall?

2.Check the answers. 3.Read and understand the conversation one sentence by one sentence. 4.Talk about how to use the main sentences. 5.Read the conversation. (1)Read after the tape. (2)Read together. 2

(3)Read in three groups. (4)Role reading in three students. 6.Ask some students to act the conversation. Step 4 Practice 1.Show a passage of My Friend written with the key words and sentences in Units 1-3. 1.

Have the students choose some words to finish their passages. And enjoy two of their passages together. Step 5 Chant and match 1.Show pictures of a bird and two pandas, lead the sentences in the chant. 2.Learn the chant with the flash. 3.Chant together, chant by boys and by girls. 4.Show a picture with some animals, talk about them with: It’s.../It has... 5.Match the pictures with the sentences, and then check.
