1教学目标
Teaching aims: Knowledge: 1.Students can listen,read and say the new words “kitchen, fridge.”
2.Students can listen,read,say and write the new words “bed, table.”
3.Students can use two sentences “Look at the kitchen, There is a new fridge.”neatly.
Ability:
1.Let students use “there is/are”to discribe
something in their houses. 2.Develop the pupils’ ability of listening speaking reading and writing 3.use the dialogue neatly. Moral education: 1. To improve students’interest of English.

我所面对的学生是小学四年级的孩子,相对于三年级的孩子,他们的生活范围和认知领域都有和进一步的拓展,他们体验感受和创作能力都有了进一步的增强,但是仍然未脱离儿童的特点,他们好奇,好动,以形象思维为主,联系和模仿能力较强,并对学习英语有很大的兴趣。

课文教学
Teaching steps: Step1: Warm up 1. Greeting Introduce today’s topic.
2. Listen to the tape and chant. Step 2: Revision 1. Show some pictures of Liyan’s living room and bedroom. Let students describe these rooms. 2. Teach students how to write the word “bed”.
3. Ask students to discribe their rooms. Step 3: Presentation 1. Show the picture of Liyan’s kitchen. Tell students “Today, Kate goes to Liyan’s kitchen. Please listen to the tape and answer the questions.” After listening, students answer these questions. 2. Teacher shows the picture and tells students “This is a kitchen.” Teach the new word “kitchen”. Practice the word.
Show some pictures of the kitchen ask students “What’s in the kitchen?” Teach the new word “fridge”. Practice the word.Show some pictures of the kitchen ask students “What’s in the
kitchen?” Teach the new word “table” Ask students to take out their notebooks and write the word three times. 3. Ask students to listen to the tape and read after the tape. Students make groups and describe different pictures. 4. Do some exercise about “There is/ are”
5. Let students do some group work. Four students make a group and describe some pictures. 6. Summary this lesson.
