Lead –in and revision 1. Show a short video about sports. 2. Have a revision about sports events according to the pictures that the teacher shows. Step II

Reading passage one Activity1: Reading and answering Questions: What are three requirements for a sport to enter the Olympics? Which one is still trying to get into Olympics? Activity 2: Reading and answering (part4)

Ask students to read this part together by answering a question. Q: Which sports event is still trying to get into the Olympics? Why hasn’t it been approved by the IOC?

Activity3 : Free talk

Q:1. Is it possible for Wushu to enter into the Olympics in the future? 2.What benefits can Wushu bring to you? Step III Making a speech about sports ----- sports events in our school 1.
