Lesson 7 Months of the year 一、教材分析

第七课为第二单元的第一节“Months of the year，”教学内容围绕学生日常生活，对月份单词、序数词、重要节日等话题进行学习。

本单元新内容较多，词汇难度较大，需充分调动学生的求知欲和学习热情，使英语学习生活化。

二、学情分析：

四年级学生已经有一定的英语基础，大部分学生课堂表现都很活跃、很积极，有一定的创造力和感染力。课堂中会采用各种形

式的游戏，及教学辅助用品，调动学生的积极性、帮助学生理解、加深对所学内容的印象。

三、教学目标：

○知识与技能目标：

1.学生能听懂，会说，认读并书写下列词汇：

month, Jan., Feb., Mar., Apr., May, Jun., Aug., Sept., Oct., Nov., Dec. 2. 学生能认读，理解并运用下列基本句型结构：

--- My favourite month is ______.

②--- Whose birthday is in_______?

--- My birthday is in________. 3.学唱本课歌曲：Twelve Months

4.借助PPT、教材配套动画、单词卡片进行单词游戏等多种学习方式，激发学生学习热情和成就感。

○过程和方法目标：

1.继续发展和运用学生基本学习策略；

2.能在日常情境中观察到简单的英语对话；

3.延续听录音进行跟读的习惯；

4.学习时要集中注意力；

5. 听并学歌曲，帮助他们记住英文表达。

○情感态度目标：

1.培养学生学习英语的兴趣和好奇心，找机会练习学生的听力技巧；

2.在日常生活中尽量模仿和使用英语。

六、教学过程：

○Step 1. Class Opening and Review

1. Greeting 课前播放

Twelve Months。用单词卡片复习上一单元重点单词。

教师：Now, we’re going to have a new lesson about our daily life. Let’s go deeper and begin to learn.

2. Lesson Hook 教师：When is your birthday? It’s a big day! So, let’s learn how to tell others which month first. ○Step 2. New Concepts

Months of the year 同学们的生日都是哪一个月的？（板书

month，并解释词汇意思，

纠正读音。）

How many months in a year? How many days in a month? (引导学生说出每个月的天数不同、天数最少的二月，和一般月份天数的变化规律。使用白板出示日历)出示月份，finger spell。读单词，拼读，老师板书单词，学生不会读的单词教师要加以精讲，给学生正确的读音。Pair Works，小组成员间互相教读单词。

小游戏：

数关节，1大、2小、3大、4小……

邀请六名同学每人随机手持两个月份，按顺序转身，坐着的同学大声说出所展示的词汇。

Look at the pictures, answer the questions: 教师：“同学们，一月和二月之间看到了什么？（雪）重复这一过程。让学生明白月份可以和天气联系在一起，为后面课程做铺垫。

播放录音，让学生跟读。再次播放，只重复读月份单词。

Free talk:

What can we do in February? (寒假、节日、新年……)

What can we do in July? (暑假、旅行、天气……)

What’s your favourite month?

My favourite month is

. 老师先做示范，告诉学生自己最喜欢哪个月份，原因是什么，然后鼓励学生进行尝试。

Let’s sing! 教师：Ok, boys and girls! Let’s learn a new song!

大声朗读歌词，学生齐读，月份卡片分配给十二名学生，唱到哪个单词，对应单词的同学举起单词卡片。

Let’s do it! 首先展示月份的缩写，让学生寻找规律，然后借助图表来说明这一练习。

Let’s play!

教师：Let’s play a Bingo game. 进行游戏。

○Step 4. Class closing and homework. Make a summary of the new concepts. Draw a picture of the months after class. Interview your families about the birthday and make a chart.
