Unit5 Do you like pears?

Teaching aims: Ss can grasp some fruit names pears, apples, oranges and bananas . Ss can chant about fruits. Ss can learn how to make a short dialogue with “Do you like pears?”. Ss learn to love to eat fruits. Teaching important and difficult points: To know how to talk about their love for fruits. Step1 Greetings and sing 1. T: Good morning, everyone. How are you today? 2.Sing a song: Apple Tree T: Wow, apple red, apple round….An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Step2 Presentation 1.Play a game: Touch and guess T: Hello, boys and girls. Look, I have a bag. What’s in it? Who wants to touch and guess? T: Boys and girls, look at the apple. What color is it? Do you like apples? They’re sweet. 2.Make riddles T: I am a fruit. I am yellow and white. What am I? Who can make a riddle for us to guess? 3.Then T uses the pictures to ask the students to read and spell the fruits names one by one. 4 Let’s chant. Page 49.Chant together. Step3 Practice Let’s draw. T: Well, boys and girls, listen and draw. I say you draw. Draw an apple. Color it red. Draw six bananas. Color them yellow. Draw three pears. Color them green. Part A Let’s learn Let’s chant

Draw seven oranges. Color them orange.

Step4. Production 1. Buy fruits. T:4 students as a group. Student1 acts to be the salesman. The other three come to the shop to buy some fruits. 2.Make a survey Ask your classmates “Do you like pears/apples….?” and fill in the table. Step5.
