Lesson 16 How Do You Go to School？

教学目标: 1.知识目标：

a.词汇：能听，说，读，写 foot, by 这两个单词。能听,说,读 walk, drive, dad 这三个单词。

b.短语：能听，说，读，写 go to school, on foot, by bus. 能听,说,读 ride my bike, walk to school。

c.句子：会询问和回答“如何去上学”的对话情景。

2.能力目标：

能在实际生活中自由表达和运用关于交通方式的对话。

3.情感目标：

渗透绿色出行的观念。

教学重点：

●词和短语：foot, by, walk, drive, go to school, on foot, by bus, ride my bike. ●句子 a. Do you walk to school, Danny? b. How do you go to school, Kim? c. My dad drives me. 教学难点: go to school on foot=walk to school ride a bike=by bike. 教具：多媒体课件。

教学过程：

一、Greeting Sing a song: The Month Song(既活跃气氛，吸引注意力，又复习了U2第二单元的十二个月份。) Ask some questions:How old are you? When is your birthday? How tall are you? Are you short or tall? Where do you live? What’s your address?

二、导入新知

T: Boys and girls. Summer is coming ,I want to go to the park .Do you want to go to the park?If you want to，how？

Ss: By bus./By car... T: So today we will learn something about means of transportation This time,guess how do I go to school? Ss: By bus./By car... T:Yes. I go to school by bike. (板书句子I go to school by bike.

领读，确认学生理解句子意思。) T:If you go to school by bike too, you can say, (板书I go to school by bike.) 请学生试读，再请学习能力较强的学生单个读。

与几名学生问答，为全班作示范，然后请几组学生问答，确认学生能正确问答后，请学生同桌问答。完成后请几组学生展示。

三、课文学习

Today our friends Danny,Kim,Jenny and Steven are talking about the ways to go to school. How do they go to school? Do you want to know?Ok, Now Let’s watch and listen. (呈现课文，提问简单问题，帮助学生整体感知课文。）

1、呈现课文，整体感知

T:What are they talking about? Ss:How to go to school. Ss:

Kim goes to school on foot.

Jenny goes to school by bus.

Steven goes to school by car.

Danny goes to school by bike.

T: go to school on foot=walk to school ride a bike=by bike. 2、Watch and listen again.设疑激趣，全面深入学习文本

（1）课件出示问题，播放课文，学生观看后回答问题：

Why does Kim go to school on foot?

Because she lives near the school.

Why does Jenny go to school by bus?

Because she lives far from the school. Why does Steven go to school by car?

Because his dad drives him to school. Why does Danny go to school by bike?

It’s interesting.

(设计意图：提供给学生一个支架，降低问题的难度。用红色标出动词的第三人称单数形式，给学生视觉上的提醒，促使学生不自觉地注意这些动词。) May be this is the reason.There are more reasons:

interesting 、 fast（快的）、 near 、cheap（便宜的）、good exercise（好的锻炼）(跟读) (2) 板书How do you go to school？

请多名学生看练习问答: How do you go to _____？I go to _____ _____. (Beijing farm park cinema) (go to Beijing,go to the park的出现，让学生了解这一句式除了可以询问怎样去上学之外，还可以用来询问如何去其他地方。) 四、Let’s chant. 五、Practise
