Teaching Plan for Lesson 10 Rain and Sun Learning objectives: Knowledge and abilities:Ss learn about the new words of the nature (sun, cloud, rain, wind and snow), and learn a song to remember the new words. Ss review the words of months (Jan. Feb. Apr. and so on). Process and methods: Ss can learn about the objections of the meteorology through picture and pair work. Emotional attitudes and values: Ss can know about the mistery of the nature and would like to experience the beautiful world. Teaching key points: the new words of the meteorology (sun, cloud, rain, wind, snow) Teaching difficult points:Ss can learn realize the beauty of the nature. Teaching method: Communicative teaching, Game teaching method Teaching procedures:

Stage1: Lead-in Step1: Greetings! Step2: Daily report. Step3: T introduces the topic of today by a riddle. Stage2: Presentation Step1: T shows some pictures of the meteorology one by one and leads Ss to read the words.

Step2: Ss read the word in a group, then touch the picture one by one and read the word aloud. Step3: T checks Ss’ remembering of the words by showing the picture in turn. Step4: Bomb game: T shows the pictures with a bomb picture at random, and Ss speak out the English quickly according to the pictures. Step5: Ss draw the picture of their favourite natural landscape in this class, and T shows off some good pictures and lets other Ss guess what it is. Stage3: Practice and consolidation Step1: Ss look at the screen and understand the passage one sentence by one sentence with T’s help. Step2: T emphasizes the key points for Ss. Step3: Ss read the passage after the radio and then read by themselves. Step4: Ss find out the words of months while enjoying the music. Step5: Ss volunteer to answer which month they found in the song, then Ss understand the meaning of the song with T’s help. Step6: Ss enjoy the month song once more and humming with the radio. Step7: Ss learn another song under T’s guidance, and finally sing the song by themselves. Stage4: Summary and homework Step1: Ss try to summarize the key points in this lesson, and T gives supplement.

本课是一篇比较简单的课文，围绕sun, cloud, rain, wind, snow 5个天气名词展开，知识目标明确。能力目标方面，学生的听说能力都得到了一定的锻炼。本课设计在很大程度上降低了难度，激发了学生的学习兴趣，使他们了解了天气方面的知识。

本课充分利用媒体教学，课件设计以卡通形象为主，给学生一定的视觉冲击，符合小学阶段的年龄特征。导入开门见山；课程设置比较流利，导入，新授，练习，测试，小结环节紧凑，时间分配合理。从课堂反应效果来看，学生掌握情况还是很好的！

但是从本课的设计和教学过程方面来看还是存在不足之处，如：

1、

学生训练活动方式单一，主要还是停留在师生互动的阶段，生生互动较少。

2、

注意学生活动方式的有效性。学生训练活动具有一定的目的性，都是为学习目标设定的。难度系数较大较低都不合适。本课的贴图活动设置难度系数较低，学生对于天气名词已经大致掌握，那么活动显得有些多余。

3、

注意课堂用语的应用。英语课，作为一门语言学科，尤其是外国语言，要充分的营造英语的氛围，让学生身临其境，自主运用英语。

针对以上问题，在以后的课堂和教学中我将继续提高自己的教育理论水平，充分转变思想，把学生置于学习的主体地位，处处以学生为中心；并紧紧围绕学习目标设计多样的训练活动，充分调动学生的积极性，通过兴趣吸引学生主动学习；努力提高自己的专业素养，注意课堂英语口语的应用，努力营造英语交际的氛围。
