教学目的:

来提问并准确回答。

教学过程:

Step1. Warming up.

Review: the material from the last lesson.

T: Hello. How old are you?

S:____.

Step 2. New Concepts.

1.New concepts:

T:Are you short or tall?

S:I am short/tall.

T: How tall are you? ( The teacher take out a ruler.)

Oh. You’re 1.3 metres tall. (Write the sentences on the blackboard.) “Poi nt”, say it, please.

Show some numbers on the blackboard.

2. T:How tall is he?

S:He is 1.4 metres tall.

3.Show some animals.

T: How tall is it( panda)? S1: It’s 1.6 metres tall.

S2:How tall is it (giraffe)? S3:It’s 3.1 metres tall.

4.Read this lesson and translate it.

Then the teacher explained the text.
