Liu Ying 一、教材分析

本单元作为七年级上册最后一个单元，具有加深和总结的作用。

以“School

subject”为话题，选材于学生的日常生活，十分符合学生实际。七年级的学生开始学习各种科目：语文、数学、英语、生物、历史、地理、美术、音乐等。学习生活有了紧凑的安排，每天的课程都排得满满的。他们也一定会有自己喜欢的科目，有自己的学习计划。通过讨论学习，能够提高他们的学习兴趣，进行合理的学习安排。Section A 主要通过听、说和讨论的活动让学生了解怎样用英语询问和回答最喜欢的学科和喜欢的原因，以及这些学科的课任老师。并学会用fun, interesting, boring, difficult, relaxing等形容词来表达自己喜欢某个学科的原因。学会新词汇和用特殊疑问句What’s your favorite subject? Why do you like...? 等句型来进行口语交际。Section B 讨论课程表的安排，星期几，几点上什么课等。学生学会星期的表达并结合学科的表达进一步提高口语交际能力，并过渡到阅读理解和书面表达，培养其阅读和写作的能力。并把英语运用到日常邮件写作和表达，培养学生在实际生活中运用英语表达的能力。 二、学情分析

绝大部分学生掌握的词汇、语句还很少，缺少语言基础，表达的句子也较单一，对任务的完成还会有一定的难度，部分学生会不自信，害怕表达等思想顾虑有待培养知识的扩展和运用的能力。所以在课堂环节的设置中，我采用了听说读等，并设有当堂检测，以对学生的掌握情况做以及时了解。

三、教学目标

1. 语言知识目标

1) 运用词汇：表示星期的单词Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday以及free, cool, A.M., P.M. 2) 谈论他人所喜欢的科目及原因，询问课程的时间安排的句型：

—What’s David’s favorite subject?

—His favorite subject is…

—Why does he like …? —Because it is…

—When is the class? —It’s…

3）描述性形容词的巩固运用

2. 语言技能目标

了解星期的小常识，能用what, why 等wh-疑问句型结合描述性形容词询问并陈述喜欢某事的原因

3. 情感态度价值观目标：

了解中西方中学学制和学科设置的知识，巩固有关时间和星期的词汇，在此基础上能制作合理有效的课程表，学会合理安排自己的时间。

四、教学重点

1. Learn the words：

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, free, cool 2.将学科与校园活动与描述性形容词相结合，在听力内容中得到强化

五、教学难点

活动1d要求学生在前面听力的基础上互动交流，对听力材料进行再次挖掘，该活动要求学生就David最喜欢的学科，喜欢的原因以及上课的时间等信息进行综合运用。

七、教学过程

Step1 Warming up and revision 1. Greet the class as usual. 2. Revise A.M. and P.M. by talking about the time 3. Revise the subjects we have learned by asking and answering like this: What’s your/his/her/ favorite subject? Why do you like P.E.? 4. Revise the description words: interesting, boring, difficult, easy and help them to understand the meaning of opposite. 【设计意图】

通过看图抢答单词及对话练习，让学生回忆并复习前面的知识，增加大脑活跃度以及迅速进入学习状态

Step 2 Lead-in and learn the new words 1.The teacher guides the Ss to enjoy the video of “The day of the week”

and then ask the Ss to

point out days of the week. 2.Teach the words of seven days in a week by asking the following two questions: 1) What day is it today? 2) How many days are there in a week？What are they?

3. Let students read the words after teacher. 4. Then ask some students to read it one by one. 5. Tell the students: Sunday is the first day of a week, Monday is the second day of a week. 6. Tell the students Weekdays are from Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday are weekends. 7. Review the words by playing games. 【设计意图】

这个眼明口快的活动，目的是活跃气氛，引起他们对单词的兴趣，让学生集中注意力，快速记忆单词，为下面的听力练习积累词汇并奠定基础。

Step 3. Learn and Practice description words Learn the descriptions words by showing them some pictures. Collect as many descriptions as we can, and teach the new words: cool and free.

【设计意图】

该活动通过图片来对应描述性的形容词，利用了直观的词汇教学方法。通过对比I’m free on weekends but President Xi is busy让学生体会到free means not busy. Step4. Pair work

Ask students to ask and answer like this:

A: What’s your favorite day?

B: My favorite day is …

A: Why do you like…?

B: Because I have math/P.E. on….It’s interesting. How about you?

A: My favorite day is …because…

【设计意图】

将教授的内容科目、星期与形容词相结合，放在典型句型中，将词汇与句型进行有机结合，提高学生英语语言运用能力。

Step5. Presentation

1. Guide the students to match the words on the left with their opposites on the right in 1a, then check the answers. 2. Guide the students to read these words together. 【设计意图】

复习、巩固、拓展词汇。

Step6. Listening 1b&1c

1b: Listen to the tape for the first time and check the adjectives you hear in 1a. 1c:1. Listen for the second time and circle the subjects David talks about on the schedule. Then check the answers.

2. Listen again and try to write down the time. 3. Lead the students to talk about the classes on David’s schedule like this:

David has Chinese classes on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday…

Step7. Pair work 1.Ask students to finish 1d and then check the answers. 2.Ask a pair of Students to read the conversation. 3.Ask students to talk about David’s favorite subjects with their partner, and then talk about their favorite subjects. And ask some pairs to act it out. 【设计意图】

该活动通过听力训练复现，强化了之前学过的有关时间，星期的词汇，活动1d要求学生在前面听力活动的基础上互动交流，也是对听力材料的再次挖掘，该活动要求学生就David最喜欢的学科，喜欢的原因以及上课时间等信息进行问答。

Step8: Group Work: Interview

One is the reporter. Ask your group members

about their favorite school days. For example: A:Excuse me, can I ask you some questions? B: Sure. A: What’s your favorite school day? B: My favorite school day is _______. A: Why do you like it? B: Because I have __ ___ class on ______/this day. I think it’s ___ and/but _____. 【设计意图】

通过Group work 为语言输出积累信息，打好语言基础，增强学生感知语言的综合运用。

Step9. Report

Choose a group member to give a report according to their interviewing.

For example: Hello, I’m from Group___________ Our favorite school day is _______because we have ____________ on this day. My favorite class is ___________. It’s at _________ because it’s _______ and /but_________ for me Bill’s favorite class is __________. It’s at __________ because It’s _______ and /but________ 【设计意图】

让整堂课的教学活动达到高潮，也让本堂课的语言运用达到顶点，培养学生的英语核心素养。
