Teaching procedure: Step1 .Lead in

1 Show some pictures about outdoor activities. Talk about the activities and their experiences. 2 Outdoor activities can bring us joy.We should do some of them. Lead into the new lesson. Step 2 Presentation

1 Learn the new words by some pictures. 2 Finish A looking at the pictures.

3 Talk about the activities

eg. Which outdoor activity do you like?

Jogging.

Do you want to go jogging?

Who will go jogging with you? Step 3 Comic strips 1 Eddie and Hobo are doing an outdoor activity. Look at the picture,and tell me what activity it is. 2 listen to the tape and answer the questions

(1) Does Eddie thinks the bag is heavy?

(2) .How does Eddie feel? (3) What does Eddie want Hobo to do? (4) Why does Hobo say the bag isn’t that heavy?

Check the answers first, then read after the tape. 3 Act it out in pairs. 4 Explanations. Step 4 Practice 1 Listen to Part B and answer the questions

(1) What outdoor activity would Amy like to try? (2) How about Daniel? (3) Why do Daniel and Amy like the two activities? 2 Read the conversation after the tape and then practice in pairs.
