准备与热身(Preparation)

T：What's this in English? S1：It's a pen. T：What's that in English? S2：It's a ruler. T：What's this in English? S3：It's a jacket. T：What's that in English? S4：It's an orange. T：How do you spell it? Do you know how to answer my question? I think some of you can answer the question，but some students can't answer it.Don't worry.Today we will learn it. Step 2

(Presentation) Look at the pictures.You are going to hear the names of the things in the pictures.Listen to the tape and write the number of the words. 课时要点

Play the recording for the students to listen and ask them to complete the words under the pictures in 3a. Teacher: Now please look at the pictures in 3a again.There are some uncompleted words under them.You can listen to the recording and complete the words. Then check the answers. Listen to the conversation first.Then repeat and practice the conversation. Then students make a new conversation in pairs. T：Look at 3d.Listen to some conversations and number the words you hear [1～4]．

Play the tape twice for the students to listen and number. Then check the answers. Step 3

(Practice)

Students make their own conversations，using the words in activities. T：Let's look at the incomplete alphabet.Some letters are missing.Please look at them carefully and fill in the blanks.You should work in pairs. Students number the words in alphabetical order [1～15]．

Then get students to read the words. Play the recording for the first time.Students only listen. Then play the recording for second time.Students listen and repeat. Ask some students to read the letters and words. Step 4

运用与生成

(Production)

Ask students to read through the instruction of 4d so that they can know how to do this activity. Leave students several minutes to read the letters and words in the box individually. Then invite some students to read them for the whole class and explain the meaning of the new words. Step 5

巩固与提高(Progress) 【探究点】

—Spell it，please.请拼写它。—M－A－P，map. ①spell是动词，意为“拼写”。在英语中，像这种以动词原形开头的句子叫祈使句，常用来提出指令或提醒注意。祈使句的主语一般为第二人称you，但you通常被省略。句末用感叹号或句号，读时用降调。

②please是感叹词，意为“请”，它在祈使句中常放在句末，前面常常用逗号隔开，也可把please移至句首，这时需要大写首字母P。

③在对祈使句Spell it，please.进行回答时，直接拼读单词就可以了。在拼写单词时要注意拼写的每个字母都要大写，而且一定要用短横线连接。
