Warming up At first,start with a song.Now listen to a song “Good morning”

Review the letters,from Aa to Rr. Review the words:cup,pen,key,jacket,ruler,quilt,map,orange. Step 2

Presentation Show some pictures,like a cup,a key ,a pen, a jacket, a ruler,a quilt , a map and an orange.Point to a quilt ,ask:”What’s this in English?”Students can answer:”It’s a quilt.” Then ask and answer other pictures one by one. Step 3

3a and 3b Listening.Ask students to listen to the tape one time

and number the words they hear. After they finish 3a.Listen again.Ask students to complete the words under the pictures in 3a. Step 4

Lead-in The new words “spell,please.”Read them and learn how to use them.
