本节是新目标Go for it ! 教材八年级上册《Unit1 Where did you go on vacation?》第一课时，Section A 。本节课主要是学习运用一般过去时态描述过去的经历的用法。本节课主题是谈论假期经历，以及感受。

知识目标：

1.词汇

stayed, visited, felt, expensive, inexpensive, crowded,

2. 句型

Where did you go on vacation?

We went to New York. What did you do ?

I visited the museums. How was the weather?

能力目标：

1）学习谈论过去发生的事件

2）学会谈论度假活动

3）能够以日记的形式记录过去的活动并表达感想

三、情感目标: 通过描述”我的旅游故事”，激发对祖国壮丽山河的热爱，感受人与人之间的真情与互助，提升爱生活的热情。

重点：动词过去式和一般过去时态

难点：How to write travel diaries.

I. Warming-up 利用图片热身，导入新课

II. Presentation 1. Try to read the words correctly and write in the chart .

2. Match the words with the pictures. Then check and listen to some individuals. 3. Work in pairs 教师活动：Teacher asks one student as a model. T: How was the watch? S: It was expensive. Then get them to work in pairs. Encourage the students to speak as much as possible. III. Practice 1. Teacher: You know, Vera went on vacation, Bob did ,too.
