一、Teaching goals:

Step1 Warming up:

1.Greetings:Hello, boys and girls. This lesson we will learn about sports.

2. L et’s chant about sports.

Let’s chant

Now let’s see what we can do

We can run,run,run,run.

We can jump,jump,jump,jump.

I like sports very much.

T:Oh,you say it very well.well:It means good.

3.L earn and read the new word:well.

T:Yes,you did very well.Please say and do after me:I can do it well.

T: You are all fantastic children.fantastic :It means very good.

4.L earn and read the new word: fantastic.

Step2 Lead in and presentation

1.T shows the pictures of the sports meeting,leading in diffierent sports.

Ss answer “run fast” “jump high”.

2.Talk about football,ask Ss whether they know Beckham.

Ss answer :Beckham can play football.

3.Learn the new words: well,team, goalkeeper, catch.

Ss learn the new words: well,team, goalkeeper,catch.

4. Show the ball and say:Look,this is a ball.

I will throw it.Who can catch the ball?

“I can catch the ball well”/“I catch the ball badly”

1.T shows a video,and asks some questions.

Ss Watch the video,and try to understand the meaning of it.

2.Lead the Ss to read the new text,let them try to find the answers.

Ss Read the text together,try to find the answers to the questions.
