教学目标

1.通过 look and learn 及 listen and say 学习单元核心词汇。

2.通过Listen and say的情景对话,帮助学生复习相关句型,谈论彼此身高体重和课余生活的对话。

3.能听懂、会说、会读和会写单词和句型:Weigh, kilogram, centimeter, fan, theatre, go fishing, 4.能够用英语描述身高、体重等。能够简单地说一说自己的生活。

5.通过对比过去和现在的变化,更加热爱生活。

教学重点词汇:Weigh, kilogram, centimeter, fan, theatre, go fishing,

教学难点句型:I’m 150 centimeters tall. school. 日常用语:How exciting! That’s fantastic!

用具准备 tape, word cards , pictures

教学过程

一、Pre-task preparatons

询问学生每天放学后的活动。

T: What do you usually do after school? S1: I usually read books and listen to music. S2: I usually ride a bike. ? 把学生分成四人小组,请每位学生讲述自己每天早晨,中午和晚上做的事情。

S1:I get up at seven o’clock in the morning. I brush my teeth and wash my face . Then I go to school . I eat lunch at school. In the evening. I always do my homework and read newspapers.

二、While-task procedures

1、在黑板上写下“170”,让学生用英文快速读出数字。

2、根据学生的回答引出句型:I am 170 centimetres tall. How tall are you ?

T: (write 170 on the blackboard ) What number is it ?

S1: It’s one hundred and sev enty

T: One hundred and seventy . I am one hundred and seventy centimeters tall (show your height and writh centimeter on the blackboard.)

3、请学生跟读 centimetre ,然后请学生说出自己的身高。

T:How tall are you?

S1: I am one hundred and fifty-nine centimeters tall.

T: How tall are you ?

S2: I am one hundred and sixty-two centimeters tall.

4、教师顺着上述活动中最近一个学生话语引出句型:I am fifty-nine kilograms .How much do you weigh? T: I know you are one hundred and sixty-two centimeters tall. But how tall am I ? Do you remember? S1:You are one hundred and seventy centimeters tall.

T: That’s right. And I weigh fifty-nien kilograms. (write kilogram and weigh on the black board) 5、请学生跟读 kilogram, 然后请学生说出自己的体重。

T: T: How much do you weigh? How much do you weigh? S1: I weigh forty-tow kilograms.

S2: I weigh thirty-seven kilograms.

6、出示 Listen and say 的图片,播放录音,学生边听边看图片。

7、再次播放录音,教师板书对话中出现的生词 taller,

帮助学生理解词义。

T:( write taller on the blackboard and ask a student to stand beside the teacher)

Look !He’s one hundred and fifty centimeters tall. I am one hundred and seventy centimeters tall. So I am taller. 然后分别请两个高矮不一的学生站起来,教师问: Who is taller? 请全班学生回答:…is taller

8、播放对话录音,请学生逐句跟读,鼓励学生昼模仿录音中人物的语音语调。

9、教师读出反馈练习中的句子,请学生快速判断所描述的是 Joe 还是 Georger 的角色

10、有感情地朗读对话。教师在教室内来回巡视,如果学生有困难,及时给予帮助。

三、Post-task activities.

1、调查活动。请学生调查两个同学,把他们的身高体重记录在表格中。

S1: How tall are you ? S2: I am hundred and forty-six centimeters tall. (S1 writes 146 in the table) S1: How much do you weigh? S2: I weigh forty kilograms .(S1 write 40 in the table) 请学生在全班面前汇报自己的调查结果。

2、请学生为自己制作小卡片。学生将卡片混在一起,任意挑选一张卡片,说出卡片上除了姓名之外的信息,其他学生猜猜这是谁。
