该班是文科班，大部分学生学习英语的热情高涨。该班学生英语基础较扎实，提高口语水平的愿望较强烈，并积极备战高考英语听说考试。在该班就听说考试中的困惑做了调查，80%的学生表示对复述故事部分信心不足，而且在take notes部分没有掌握技巧，不知道如何整合notes。
