Making a speech about sport

【概述】

本课为高中英语模块四第二单元的Project部分，模块四第二单元的主题为“sports events”，学生通过了解奥运会,运动项目,运动员等，形成自己对此话题的观点。本单元Project部分的目的很明确：

Making a speech about sport，即通过阅读关于运动项目如何进入或退出奥运会，从而引出对输赢的看法, 指导学生如何写演讲稿并展示自己的演讲。

【教学目标】

１、知识与技能

（1）认识以下词汇：continent, remove, power boating, make way for, tae kwon do, rugby, golf, eagle, kangaroo, goal, shot, referee, reporter, unfair, bitter, precious （2）听文章把握信息的能力；

（3）阅读文章并处理信息、处理文字的能力；

（4）能够通过阅读把所需信息口头表达出来的能力；

（5）模仿，举一反三来进行写作与演讲的能力。

２、过程与方法

（1）能够通过多种不同的教学活动包括听、说、读、写来体验用英语处理信息的过程；

（2）能够通过结对练习、小组讨论和小组竞赛体验协作学习的过程和方法；

（3）能够仔细倾听老师和同学的发言，有语言表达和同学交流的愿望。

（4）能够通过自己分析材料，模仿其特点来进行举一反三的创造的愿望。

3、情感态度与价值观

（1）通过设置由浅入深的一系列活动，激发不断实现自我和提高自我的成就感，保持学习兴趣，实现“趣能”两得；

（2）在学生两两交流和小组合作探究中，培养孩子合作意识和协作精神，能够相互配合协作来完成老师课堂上布置的不同任务。

（3）通过学习，培养学生对运动的正确立场。
