Verbs followed by doing /to do
Teaching aims: 1.
Review some basic knowledge of verbs followed by doing /to do . 2.
With the assistance of the grammar students learnt in their middle school ,help them to know more verbs and some verb phrases followed by doing /to do.

By practicing orally and in a written form , make students consolidate the grammar . Teaching key points : Verbs followed by doing /to do
Teaching difficult points : 1.
How to help students master this confusing grammar ? 2.
How to make a fairly dull grammar class interesting and effective ？
Teaching procedures : 1.
Warming up
Give the students some simple sentences to translate ,containing some verbs they learnt before .(A little contest can be held for fun ). 2.
Make a list of the sentences they learnt in this module and highlight the verb part . 3.
Read all these phrases aloud to keep them in mind .
4.
Fill in the blanks on PPT.
5.
Give the students some time to digest the sentences . 6.
Erase these sentences on PPT , ask some students to recite them. (1 representative for each group, some presents prepared for winners ) Homework : 1.
Finish the exercises on in the textbook . 2.
Make up some short stories , using what they learnt in the class as much as possible .
