本节课的话题是关于一个位于南半球的主要英语国家——澳大利亚。导入部分，我一开始结合一张图片引入I will (I’ll)…入主题An interesting country。同时准备了关于澳大利亚风土人情的图片，作为拓展教学内容介绍给学生，让他们更全面地了解这个国家。还要求学生在课前查阅有关澳大利亚的图片和信息，待课上和大家一起进行了分享。

课文学习部分，主要要引导学生描述如果你想了解更多的有关澳大利亚的情况，你会采取什么方法，接着通过看课文动画教后记

理清课文第一部分：How will they find out about Australia? 完成PPT上面的表格。为了训练学生的语言表达能力，引导全班学生借助图片及其useful expressions的提示，共同复述查找澳大利亚信息的方式。帮助学生用will进行描述，巩固本课的基本句型I will (I’ll)…。接着，说一说：Whose idea do you like? Why?来总结“Asking may be fast and easy, but reading can learn a lot from it. ”，从而引出At home, Liu Tao is reading about Australia.顺利过渡到第二部分的学习。第二部分我采取小组合作的方式结合思维导图进行分层教学，让学生分步学习这个国家特有的动物、最受欢迎的体育运动以及主

要城市。学生在老师的步步引导下对课文进行深度的学习与理解，又一次夯实了基础。 巩固环节，先是Listen and repeat.接着Reading time.(1)Role play the first part in groups.小组成员角色扮演朗读。(2)Read the second part together.全班齐读。从而帮助学生正确流利的朗读课文。同时培养学生的合作精神和竞争意识。紧接着，我安排学生四人一组，根据课文的第二部分内容完成Team work： I am a guide 。合作介绍澳大利亚。一人负责总述部分，其他三人可以分别介绍澳大利亚的动物、运动和城市。仿照课文的第二部分，给出书面介绍。这个任务来进行语言的输出，让学生进行口头操练，并进行适量拓展。最后对于课文内容进行总结和概括。同时向学生展示名言警句，The world is big and I want to see it。世界那么大，我想去看看A thousand journey is started by taking the first step.千里之行，始于足下。（老子）引导学生思考What should you do now? 进行情感教育及其爱国主义教育。

由于学生并不真正了解澳大利亚，尤其利用英语表达相关知识，存在的困难就更多了。在课堂上更多的时间放在了文本的理解和掌握上，课堂缺乏创新的思维，需要进行对西方国家知识的拓展。
