教学目标：

1.

通过表演本课短语中单词的动作，学生学习在真实情景中运用下列句子完成询问课堂活动的交际任务。What do you do in English class? All kinds of things. 2.

通过动作演示，配以节奏，学生能说出listen and do, speak and sing, play and act三个短语。

3.

通过教师自编的小chant以及动作演示对本课短语的练习，学生能够进行本课的对话练习，并能尝试分角色表演。

Step 1. Warmup 1.

Tell the students that today they have to help me. Because my daughter wants to know what the students do in class. She is now in the kindergarten. Can you help me? 2.

So what do you do in an English class? Let me help you. I’ll show some pictures of what they do in an English class. Step 2. Presentation 1.

We do so many things in an English class. We do all kinds of things. All kinds of … Learn this phrase. Ask the students say it with me with clapping hands.

Ask the students if they remember the question that my daughter has. Show it: what do you do in an English class? Read it and answer it. We do all kinds of things in English. 3.

The students listen to me and do what I ask them to. So let them say the phrase: listen and do. Tell them the pronunciation of listen. Then practice the phrase: listen and do. We listen and do. And then practice the question: what do you do in an English class? And the answer: we listen and do. So now they can tell my daughter. 4.

Let’s play a game: listen and do. Here is the rule. If I say the sentence and clap my hands, the students do it like me. If I just say it, they just clap their hands for three times.

Practice the Q & A again with clapping hands. And show my daughter. 6.

Just now we play a game, do you like it? Show them the picture of their class. So we play in an English class. Learn the phrase: play and act. You play the game and you act in an English class. Practice the Q&A again. And now they can show my daughter more.

Let’s play and act. You’ll see some pictures of animals. Each

picture has nine little pictures. Two of them are the same, so they have to find them and act the animal.

Since we keep speaking English all the time in English, so what do you do in an English class? We speak. Learn the word: speak. When the word speak meet music, what will them become? Yes, it’s sing. Practice the phrase: speak and sing.

Practice the Q&A: what do you do in an English class? We listen and do . We play and act. We speak and sing.

Let’s listen to a song. And try to sing with it ask the students if they can rewrite this song. I can show them some examples. 11.

Until then, can they show my daughter what they do in an English class? Ask them to show it. Like what they sing in class. 12.

Go back to the lesson, ask the students to listen to the dialogue. And then open the books. Read after the dialogue. And then act the dialogue. At last, try to recite the dialogue together.

In an English class, you do all kinds of things. But what do you do in other class? Can you please talk about it in with your partners? I’ll show them some pictures of subjects.

Step3. Add-activity

We have so many students in our class. My daughter don’t know

anyone. So can you please introduce yourself when she come to our class? Please complete the name card you’ve got. Finish it with your friend, and then introduce yourself to us in English first.

Step 4. Homework The homework make into three levels, the students can choose the level they just fit to do. A.

Describe the classes you have in school to your friends or your family , and if you can describe the things you do in class, that would be better. B.

Act the dialogue with your partner.

C.

Say the phrases frequently. And make up some sentences with those phrases.
