Analysis of teaching material This material is from PEP6 ,Unit1 My day C story time .This lesson is talk about a story about Zip’s weekend and daily life.During the class, the teacher should lead the students to understand the sentences: I often...on the weekend.and what’s more cultivate the students talk about their weekends. Analysis of curriculum standard The fifth grade students should understand the stroy, and can use the correct speech to make dialogue, fully understand the teaching content.

Analysis of the students The students had learnt English for about 2years, they can speak English well, and they can say many verbs in the class. It’s not difficult for them.

From Monday to Wednesday , Zip collects nuts, On Thursday ,he drys nuts, On Friday he eats nuts , on the weekend, he watches TV ,and have a show, play the pipa, Wow,Zip is very busy. Look at the words here , I read once ,you read three times.are you clearly? Let’s go.

In this lesson ,the students had learnt some new verbs to talk about their weekend, during the class, I try to lead the students retell the story and act it out ,they were all

interested in the class, they showed their performaces,they were all happy in the class.
