B: Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.

A: Can I play flute now?

B: Yes, you can. / No, you can’t.

(2)The teacher touches the stomach to say: “I’m hungry now. Can I have some noodles?” and Ss learn to say new words: soup, sweets, bread, biscuit, fruit and the sentence paten: A: Can I have some...? B: Yes, you can. / Sorry, you can’t.

1. Listen and point. (1) Listen to the tape and get the Chinese meanings.

(2) New words teaching: sorry, turn on, light (3) T reads the story in irregular order and Ss point to the correct pictures. 2. Listen and say. (1) Listen to the tape and repeat one sentence after one. (2) Point and say in pairs of two. 3. Ask and answer. First let Ss say out the food on the table, then teacher and several Ss converse by using the sentence paten, and at last talk in pairs of four. Ⅲ Activity Book 1. Listen and point. 2. Now complete the sentences. Use the words in the box and circle them. 3. Now say the complete conversation. ⅣHomework 1.Read the text three times. 2.Say the story to their parents.
