教学内容及学情分析
本课是精通小学英语四年级下册第3单元的第5个课时。本单元主要话题是学科。学科这个话题非常贴近学生的日常生活,能够引起学生的共鸣,激发学生热爱学习、喜爱学校的情感。经过前4个课时的学习,学生能够用“How many lessons do you have…?”、“What subject do you like best?”、“Do you like…?”、“Why?”、“… is
interesting/fun/easy.”等句子对学科进行提问和回答。纵观整个单元,6个课时中,只有第17课对课上具体干什么有涉及。这是学生们非常感兴趣的,但是这对学生现有的动词词汇量和如何正确使用是一个考验。好在这个年龄的学生领悟力很强,他们也非常愿意在课堂上说英语,喜欢在课堂上现学现用。所以,在适当的图片、视频等的帮助下他们能够大胆地表现自我。
教学目标
学生通过本课的学习能够:
1. 听说读写单词:speak,listen 听、说、认读词组:listen and do,
speak and sing,play and act 2. 用- What do you do in a/an ... class?
- We ...
询问不同学科课上做什么,并回答。
3. 用英语简答表达喜欢某个学科的原因。
4. 知道每一个学科都十分有用,要努力学好各个学科,同时能够感受到学校生活的丰富多彩,热爱学习、喜欢学校。
教学重点
1. 学生能够用-What do you do in a/an... class?

2. 在有语言支架的情况下进行关于学科的多语轮对话。
教学难点
1. 长句“We do all kinds of things in English.”发音有困难。
2. 不同学科课上所做的活动学生因为语言水平有限可能表达不出来。
教学准备
1. 11个磁性小白板,上面贴好不同四个学科做什么事情的表格。
2. 画有各学科活动图片和词组的卡片若干张,背面粘好磁条。
3. 表演道具:相机模型1个、麦克风1个。
教学过程
1. Warm up Students sing a song with actions.
What do you do every day? 【设计意图】歌曲能够很好地活跃气氛,为接下来的英语学习做好准
备。同时本歌曲选择了本课主句型What do you do…?能够让学生在正式学习课文之前渗透、练习主要句型。
2. Lead in Teacher: What do you do in the morning? Students answer the question. 【设计意图】学生刚唱完歌,对What do you do…?句型比较熟悉了。教师问学生早上做了什么,在复习歌曲中词组的同时,等待学生说I go to school.从而很好地引入本单元学科这一话题。

【设计意图】通过看、做、听等活动让学生猜学科的同时,让他们对不同学科课上做的事情有个初步了解,渗透语言输入。此外,最后一个听音乐的环节为引出下一个听唱歌曲的活动做好铺垫。

通过课件链接,链接“all kinds of”的用法

度“all kinds of”。通过图片的列举,和符合情境的句子讲解,让学生整体感知并初步操练“all kinds of”。

【设计意图】通过一个问题顺利过渡到英语课做什么?为呈现本课重点和课文内容做铺垫。

视频中有与课外内容相配合的讲解:
Hi, every one! I’m Lily. I’m Tom. We are from TEDA Experimental School. I’m in Class Five, Grade Four. We like English best. In English classes we listen to the teacher. We speak English and sing English songs. We also play games and act like animals. We do all kinds of things in English. We love English. Because English is fun. English makes me happy. Students answer the question “What do you do in an English class?” according to the given pictures and verbs.

【设计意图】通过学生自己平时上英语课的情形搭配对应的活动,帮助学生身临其境地体会英语课上他们都做哪些活动。视频后的回答采用白板拽动词组成动词词组的方式一是为了降低问题的难度,二是为了新授、练习本课的6个动词。
课件上的图片都消失,只剩下listen、speak、do、play、act、sing这6个动词。

板书出现We do all kinds of things in English. 学生操练We do all kinds of things in English. 【设计意图】从以上材料中出现的5种活动listen, do, speak, sing, play and act总结We do all kinds of things in English.让学生对于英语课上do all kinds of things 有更加深刻的认识。同时,再次突破本课的重难点句子,为后面文本的学习做铺垫。

Students watch a video of the text on page 34. Students answer the question “What do you do in an English class?”
老师在学生回答问题时根据回答的答案贴板书。

课件出现Reporter: What do you do in other classes? 【设计说明】本环节和评价结合:评价采用小白板,学生在上面的活动中每回答一个问题就可以往本小组的白板上贴一张卡片。卡片印了各个学科的图片,图片下面匹配词组。

Students work in groups and do the interview. Four students in one group. 【设计意图】用小白板上不同学科活动的卡片作为计分卡片即能激发学生的学习热情,同时能为学生提供有效的语言支架,解决了学生英语语言知识不能完整表达思维的问题,成功突破本节课的另一个教学难点。通过如何当好记者的提示,为学生提供了可以参考的语言支架,但不采用现成的对话内容,为学生提供了自我发挥的空间。此外,开始的问候和结尾的感谢能关注学生文明礼貌习惯的养成。
Students come to the front and show their interview. Teacher helps the students with their language accuracy. Other students listen and choose good reporters. 学生在讲台前做展示,老师根据学生采访的学科点击展示不同学科做的事情。

【设计意图】视频采用的是学生各个学科课堂活动的视频和图片,包含语、数、外、音、体、美、科学、戏剧的各科活动剪影。配上轻快的音乐,让学生体会到校园生活的丰富多彩。视频能一定程度上激发学生对学科、学习、学校的喜爱之情。同时为最后的主题升华埋伏笔。
