Step 1
Discuss: What makes a good student?
T: Today our topic is “ Being a good student”
Do you know what makes a good student?
T: To be a good student, we should be good at school, be good at home and be good in the public places.
Step 2 Revision: How to be a good student?
T: Do you want to be a good student? How to be a good student?
1. Study hard at school
T: Being a good student at school, we should do well at school . What habits should we have? Now, let’s dicuess.
These words can help you. T:Good. You can finish it correctly!
Summary 1 T: Just now we used a lot of “ adverbs”, like “quickly, well, beautifully,...” Do you know how to use “adverbs”?

但是当句子中出现的是系动词时,我们使用形容词——即系动词+形容词。

3. Follow the rules in the public places T: Being a good student in the public places, we should follow the rules. But some people doesn’t follow the rules. I have some pictures. Let’s play a game.Watch carefully and when you see sb. doesn’t follow the rules , please say No, no,no ! You can say: Stop! You must/mustn’t.... You should//shouldn’t... You can/can’t ... If you see sb. follow the rules , you can say yeah, yeah, yeah. Summary 3 T: Now, can you say the difference between“can” ,’ should” and “must”?

Discuss: Being a good student T: Boys and girls, you know “What makes a good student” and “How to be a good student” very well. Do you want to be a good student? Do you want to tell other students to be good students? I think all of you can do well at school, at home and in the public places. But you should also help other students.

At school: finish the work quickly; keep the classroom clean; listen to the teachers ; ... At home: have meals on time; put things in order; help our parents; ... In the public places: follow the rules; help the old men; walk on the pavement, ...

One draw the picture(stick the pictures), and the other write down the notes.
Step 3 Show the poster 展示海报
Show the poster in a team. And tell us about your posters loudly. When you show the poster, you can introduce like these.
