二、学情分析

五年级下学期的学生经历了将近五年的英语学习，已经初步养成了一定的、良好的学习习惯，初步具备了一定的听、说、读、写技能，具备初步的收集信息，分析信息，处理信息的能力，在与同伴交流合作讨论的过程中初步达到了处理问题解决问题的能力。同时，他们乐于表达，愿意进行语言上的交流，也愿意与同伴分享学习的快乐！本单元话题是“博物馆”，在上一单元Changes中已经初步感知了历史博物馆的知识，学生平时也曾多次与父母或学校组织去过很多博物馆，具备了必要的学习经历和生活经验。

三、单元教学目标

【语用任务】

在International Museum Day的单元语境中，学生能够通过对本单元的六种博物馆的场所特征学习、体验和实践，感知理解并运用核心词汇和语句，表达自己对博物馆的感受，体会到不同类型博物馆的功能，通过对博物馆的学习历史、文化、艺术、交通等知识，从而激发学生爱上博物馆的积极情感。

1. 能够在语境中理解并使用核心词汇science museum, art museum, history museum, insect museum, car museum, railway museum, perform, useful, really, dance。

2. 能够在语境中理解并使用语句What did you see in ... Museum? 来询问在博物馆看到的陈列并作答。

4. 能够在语境中从地方、见闻、感受等几个方面来描述自己喜欢的博物馆。

A visit to Shanghai Science and Technology Museum Shanghai Science and Technology Museum is a great place. There are thirteen exhibition halls in it. In ‘World of Robots’, there are many robots. Some robots can play the piano very well. Some robots can perform Beijing Opera. And some robots can help firefighters put out fires. They are really cool and useful. We can learn a lot about robots. How amazing!

In ‘Spiders’, there are many different kinds of spiders. All the spiders can make webs to get food. We can make a web like a spider. And we can do spider puzzles too. We can learn a lot about spiders. How interesting!

In ‘Children’s Rainbow Land’, there are many science labs. We can play different science games. And we can make big bubbles too. We can learn a lot about science. How fun!
