This is the fourth of this module in Oxford English. The focus of this unit is about animals in the zoo. Different animals have different features. Therefore, T may plan some acting time to invite ss act in front of the class. Theme: The natural world

Most ss love animals. Therefore, they will be interested in this topic.
However, students may be too active in the class Give clear instructions in the class; Do group competition in the class. 2. Play the song (The Phonics song). T: Z is for? 1. To draw ss attention; To warm up.

While- Task
1. Learn the new words. Ss: Hello! Ss:…..
Put the card in the BB.
2. Guess what kind of animal. Read after T.
Play the bomb game.
1. Introduce Patrick, new friends to ss. T: Do u know him? Say hello to Patrick. T: Patrick is going to the zoo today. What can he see in the zoo? (bird, flower, tree…)
Let ss put the card in the BB.
2. T: What else can you see? (zebra, monkey, panda)
Give covered pics and let ss guess. ZEBRA: T: What is it? What colour is it? Great job. In a loud voice-in a low voice MONKEY: T: What is it? Boys/ Girls PANDA: T: What is it? Read and jump.
Bomb game. (Boys versus girls)
3. One student act and 3. T: What else can you see? the others guess.
(bear, tiger, elephant) Give one pic to one student and let him/her act. Other ss guess.
Play the game. (2-3 pairs)
4. Play the game. (2-3 pairs)
5. Chant. A: Read and clap. B: Read and act.
BEAR: MONKEY: PANDA: Panda? Yes, yes, panda./No, no, monkey.

In this lesson I was pleased with: 1. Teaching environment: I created an interesting and relaxed atmosphere for those young ss and ss got involoved in the class.
2. Teaching contents: I basically achieved the teaching aims with various activities which help ss raise motivation and interest.
If I taught this lesson again I would work on how to give clearer instructions and check whether they understand the instructions or not.
What I learnt from this lesson that I could take away with is 1. To be a confident teacher. 2. To design more interesting activities. 3. To give enough STT. Let ss talk and practice and they should be in the centre of the class.
