教材分析：

Grand Theatre

在前一课的基础上，学生对理想有了一定的思考，这节课在此基础上对理想作进一步的阐述，特别是为了实现自己的理想，该从哪几方面采取行动。再GT中，以What do you want to be in the future? 为话题，引出本课主要人物的理想与计划，之后让学生结合自己的兴趣爱好谈谈自己的理想与计划。课文内容可以运用表格形式来作为训练学生听力的一个资源。

学情分析：

经过Wonderland的学习，学生对理想有了一定的思考，基本上能用I want to be a/an

in the future. 来表述自己的理想。但是从哪些方面去奋斗与实现，学生的思维还较狭窄，需要在本课时的教学中加以进一步地启发。

教学目标：（三维）

能听懂和理解Grand theatre 栏目中的内容。.能根据音标识读单词，复习上两教时学习的短语：do more listening and reading, enjoy doing，掌握和应用本课中基本词组，at the start of….,

The winter vacation is over. At the start of the new term, the students are talking about their future. I want to be an IT engineer. But my English is not good enough. So I’ll do more listening and reading this term. And Tom will help me with my English. I want to be an artist. I enjoy drawing very much. My parents will find me an art teacher.

I am very happy about that. What do you want to be in the future, Norman? What do I want to be? One day I want to be a football player. The next day I want to be an astronaut. And the other day I want to be a pop singer. But my parents just want me to get up in time for school every day.
