Colin: The thin man with glasses. Wu Chen: He is Wang Wanqing. Colin: What does he do? Wu Chen: He is a doctor. He is from Shanghai. But in the past 40 years, he worked on the grassland. He is very helpful to the people there.

课时本科教材内容选自陕旅版六年级下册第三单元。本单元作四个安排

课时安排。课文A部分如果安排在一个课时完成，学生需要掌握有关动作的单词和重点句型。考虑到课文A部分用一个课时对学生的难度太大，本人对教材做出了以下处理：第一课时：学习A部分的单词和主题问答句（What are you doing? I am…）。第二课时：学习Part A的对话和句中的单词(两个部分的很多句型是一样的，便于一起处理）第三课时：主要学习Part B。本节课是第二课时，课型为说练课。

The first period Step 1 Lead-in 1.

Greet and do a chant.

T:Hello, boys and girls. At first, please stand up and do a chant . 【学习内容】 Do a chant.

【学习方式】

师生边做动作边读chant。

【设计意图】

以韵律的方式引入新课，迅速吸引孩子们的注意，既激发学生的学习兴趣，又为新课作好了铺垫（韵律中的单词是四年级所学的有关职业的单词：farmer, worker, teacher, driver, doctor, nurse)。

Play a game. T: Now, let’s play a game. (Angry bird)（CAI展示图片）

玩游戏—愤怒的小鸟。

【设计意图】

通过游戏，既调动了课堂气氛，又进入到了复习环节，自然而有新意。

Step 2 Presentation 1.

Present the main sentence structure.. T: Now, look at this picture. Who is he?(老师幻灯出示霍建华的照片。）Do you know “who”? (重点强调who）Who is he? (板书呈现，教师引导学生回答)（用同样方式引入What is he? He is an actor.) T: But do you know this man?(老师利用自己的图片激起学生的兴趣，并由此导入另一个教师李灵）Who is the young woman?（由老师自己自然过渡到李灵。）Can you guess what did he do? 【学习内容】

听说方式

【设计意图】 利用图片和视频设置情境，让孩子们在具体语境中感知主要句型，并利用活动来进一步加强巩固，达到初步感知的目的。

Consolidate the sentence structure. (1) Watch a video. T: Now, there is a hospital. （由set up自然过渡到hospital,再由hospital过渡到医生王万青，环环相扣。）Watch this video and fill in the passage.（播放王万青的视频，完成填空）

用不同方式引入引入课堂重点句型，既吸引了学生，又加深了学生对重点句型的理解和运用。

Step 3 Practice 1. Present the dialogues from the book. T: Just now, you all did a very good job. Now I will give you three minutes to practice the dialog. After that, you must present your dialog. 【学习内容】Read the dialogues in the book. 【学习方式】学生分组把课文原文读出来。 【设计意图】利用图片和视频巧妙地呈现课文原文，既紧扣课文文本，

又联系了上下文语境。

2 The emotional education. T: Today, we have learnt something about Li Ling and Wang Wanqing. They all did a lot of good things for us. Now, look at this picture. He is Mo Zhengao. Last year, he died of illness. In the past thirty years, he used his poor salary to help three hundred poor students enter the universities. And he raised three hundred thousand yuan to help eighteen poor students realise their dream. So please hand in hand and help the people around us.
