Lesson1 教学目标:

掌握不规则动词过去式:was, were, broke, went, cut, put. 教学过程:

Step1: Revision

Review the characters Jeol and Joseph. Lead in to the simple past tense sentences.

He was eight at that time. He had an accident. He broke his leg and his right arm. He was in hospital for four weeks.

Last year he was on holiday with his parents. One day he went swimming. He cut his foot on a broken bottle. His mum put a bandage round it. Step2: Presentation

Find the past verbs, was, were, broke, went, cut, put. Read and practice.

动词过去式是动词表示过去的形式。主语+谓语过去式表示这个动作发生在过去。

动词过去式的变化规律

1.一般情况下,

直接在动词后面-ed.play—played

call--called 2. 结尾有e的动词,直接加d。

live---lived 3. 末尾只有一个辅音字母的重读闭音节,双写辅音字母,再加ed.

stop--stopped
