Project: Writing a science fiction story Date:2018.6.12 Time: 40minutes Teacher: Chenhui Class: Senior 1 class 3 Instructional prospects The section here is designed to help students improve their English through doing a project. In part A, students will read science fiction stories written by two famous science fiction writers-Jules Verne and H G. Wells. Students will learn what a science fiction story is like and how to write a science fiction story. The purpose of this section is allowing students to use what they have learned to finish a project by working together. In the course of doing the project, students are encouraged to use their imagination to think about what will happen in the future with the rapid development of science and technology. Students can work in groups of four to discuss what kind of story they are going to write. They are expected to know how to cooperate and how to fulfill each part of the task.
