《开心学英语》六年级 Book 8 Unit 4 Feeling Excited ( 1st period) 一、教学设计
(一)教学内容与教材分析:
1、新单词:tired , scared , excited , sad , stayed up late ,heard a noise ,got a kitten ,got a poor grade 2、日常交际句型:I’m tired. Why are you tired ?
Because
I stayed up late.
Why did you stay up late ? Because I watched a football game on TV等
3、教学重点:掌握feeling words和phrases,运用到句型Why are you …?
Why did you…?
Because I …中进行对话交际。
4、教学难点:Why are you …?回答Because +动词过去式……
5、教材分析:本unit B部分Vocabulary中feeling words都是平时阅读中常见的单词。C 部分Target 中Why…? Because…句型,都是平时课堂较为常用语言,Story是在Target句型后的拓展,运用主要句型进行交际。
(二)学生分析:
本节课的教学对象是六年级的学生。是本课老师带了两年的班级。学生之间、师生之间的默契不言而喻。教学中我长期以来都坚持小组合作学习,自从我校成为生本教育试点学校之后,我努力探索,在英语教学“以生为本。”生本教育的理念是前置作业、和小组合作学习。本班学生英语基础比较好,小组长较为得力。前置作业对他们来说不是很困难。我一般在前三天布置下一课的预习,在学生学完前一课的那节课上预留时间播放下一课的光盘、录音等让他们对新课有个初步感知,让他们多听几遍,划出觉得最难的单词、句子。
(三)教学目标:
1、知识目标
(1)能够掌握四会单词:tired , scared , excited , sad , stayed up late ,heard a noise ,got a kitten ,got a poor grade
(2)能灵活运用本课句型进行口语交际活动
I’m tired. Why are you tired ?
Because I stayed up late. Why did you stay up late ? Because I…
2、能力目标
(1)通过学习,学生能够灵活运用Why…?Because…和他人交流
(2)培养学生观察和判断的能力。
(3)提高学生把所学知识运用到生活中的能力。
3、情感目标
(1)进一步培养学生的英语学习兴趣。
(2)引导学生学会关心他人, 顾及别人feeling。
(四)教学策略:
1、前置作业。先学,让学生完成前置作业,老师通过检查学生自学、预习的情况,了解学生学习情况的基础上,在决定教什么,怎样教。
2、充分发挥小组合作学习的作用,组内解决不懂得词、句等。小组分享更多的feeling words,和相关feeling对应的短语。小组合作PK活动,小组合作表演。通过一系列的活动让学生在玩中学、快乐学。
二、教学过程
Step 1: Warming up: Greetings. T: Class begins. Good morning, boys and girls!
T: Sit down, please! Yes, you can call me Miss Lin. I’m your new teacher today. Now I want to know someone of you: Hello, What’s your name? How old are you? What did you do yesterday? Nice to meet you! T: Boys and girls! I’m very excited today. Because it’s the fist time we can have a class together. Are you excited, too?
Step2: Presentation
