Step 1:Free Talk

Hello everyone, I want to ask you, do you have friends? Yes! Can you describe your friend? I have a friend, her/his name is…

He/she is a pupil, he/she is 12 years old. Step 2:Read the passage. 让学生读文章，并强调生词读音，边读边翻译，理解文章含义。

着重讲解新词和第三人称单数的用法。

Her name is Tess, she feels sad and afraid. Little Zeke helps her and Tess feels very happy. Finally, Little Zeke has two friends. Step 5:Show time

Zeke and Emma are good friends. (shake hands) Emma: Where is my pencil? Zeke: Here it is . (Zeke gives Emma a pencil) (Zeke puts an apple on teacher’s desk) Mrs. Jones: Emma, is this your apple? Emma: No, It’s not my apple. ( Zeke smiles) (A new girl comes in) Emma: Hello ,my name is Emma, what’s your name? (Tess doesn’t answer) Zeke: My name is Little Zeke.

I am in your desk. (Zeke writes a letter to Tess)

Tess saw Zeke in the desk. She feels very happy. From then on, Zeke has two friends---Emma and Tess. Together: We are friends. Step 6:Homework Repeat the passage and show it to your parents.
