Lesson 8 First, Second, Third 教学目的

知识和技能目标：

1.学生学生能听懂、会说和认读这些序数词：

First second third fourth fifth sixth seventh eighth ninth eleventh twelfth

2.学生能识别、理解并能根据正确的顺序排列第一到第十二月份。

情感态度目标：

利用课件为学生营造宽松、和谐的课堂氛围，调动积极性，通过多样性的活动，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生在英语课堂中不断体验成功，树立自信心，促进学生综合语言运用能力的发展。

学习策略目标：通过学生小组讨论、探究等活动方式培养学生英语思维及互助学习策略。

教学重难点：序数词的变化规律，读音及单词的实际运用

教学设计

Step1. Warming up T :How are you? What day is it ? T: Let’s sing the Twelve Months song. OK? （师生简单的交流，拉近师生关系，一首英语歌，营造了宽松的学习氛围，激发了学生学习英语的兴趣。)

Step 2. New Concepts 1.

Review:

How many months are there in a year?Can you say this months?(利用上一节课的单词卡，让学生快速说出月份单词，两遍，充分调动学生积极性，复习单词,将卡片贴在黑板上) 2.

Let’s count the numbers from1-30 3.T: Now look at this slide. What can you see? What are they doing ?Who is the winner? What place is the girl?Look at the boy in red shorts. What place is he?学生思考，出示句子Liming is the first.The girl is the second.The boy in red shorts is the third.(创设情境，导入新知识点) 指出first,second,third 为序数词，板书，会拼读。

课件出示1-12 的序数词，学生小组讨论发现规律，让学生说一说，出示13-19序数词，学生说规律；21-29序数词，学生说规律;正十的数变序数词的方法。学生总结，出示基数词变序数词的顺口溜。学生读读记记。（通过合作，探究总结规律，学生记忆深刻，降低难度）

5.practise ：基数词、序数词变化互练。

Step 3. Presentations 1.

Listen to the tape , follow it and read it. 2.

Play some games to practise it.

Go on with the slides. What day is it? Sunday is the first day of the week. Monday is the second day….What’s the date? When is your birthday?
