Analysis of the Teaching Material 1.
Status and Function (1) This is in the middle of Book 6. It plays a connecting role in the book.

This lesson is the last lesson of Unit 2. So it covers all the content learned from Lesson 4 to Lesson 6. 2.
About the Lesson
(1) This lesson is taken from English This Way, Book 6,Unit2, Lesson6 Seasons and Culture, the first period. The main topic of this lesson is the relationship between seasons and culture. During this period, Ss will learn how to express their needs.
(2) Such a topic is related to daily life, so it is helpful to raise learning interests of Ss and it will be also helpful to improve their spoken English. II.
Analysis of the Students
Most of the students are from the rural area. Although they have already learned English for about two years, their leaning foundation is relatively poor because of the school and family environment. However, they have strong curiosity and the sense of competition. They are willing to take part in various teaching activities. III.
