5班为理科普通班学生，英语学习热情高涨，乐于在学习小组中互学互评，也愿意配合教师，但课后较缺乏自主总结和反思，写作习惯也需学习者分析

进一步引导，语篇整体意识有待加强。因此，本节课作为单元总结，着重针对归纳和写作进行指导。

引入部分的阅读材料（求助信）取材于课本第39页，同样作为单元收尾的巩固训练。为配合近期的复习节奏及联系全国卷，设计了改错练习（此处体现分层教学，普通班版本在设计方式上参考了美国SAT语法项目测试）；借此材料，设计充分的写前准备活动，包括思维导图和列举大纲，运用图示加强学生的篇章整体意识。最后同伴互评，呼应开头。
