3. Group discussion. T: Eddie and Hobo get lost, though they have a map. How can we use a map correctly?

Step 3 Lead-in 1. Different directions. T: Look at the picture and tell me what directions the blue/red arrows are pointing.

2. Find the places. T: Look at this map. Suppose you are in the zoo. Can you find the location of the cinema/the school/the museum? Step 4 Part A 1. Mark the places on the map. T: The students are planning a class trip. Let’s help them find the places on the map. Listen carefully while I am reading the instructions and mark the places on the map.

(1) Sunshine zoo is north of Sunshine Middle School.

(2) Sunny Garden is west of the zoo.

(3) Lake Park is south of Sunny Garden. 2. Pair work.

T: Work in groups and take turns to tell the locations of the following places.
