2.学生能认读,理解并运用下列基本句型结构:

3.学生能理解并掌握下列单词的单复数形式:child/children, man/men, woman/women.

教学重难点:

1.能掌握并运用以上单词的单复数形式。

2.能用以上句型表达句子。

3.能根据图片用现在进行时态表达意思。

教学过程:

Step1: Greetings and Warming up

1.T: How are you?

Ss: We`re fine, and you?

T: Fine,thanks.

T: How`s the weather today?

Ss:It`s a sunny day.

2.Well, it`s sunny today, do you want to travel? Where? I want to travel to Beijing. LiMing, Danny, Jenny and Mrs.Li arrive in Beijing today. First, let`s look at some new words.

Step2: Presentations

1.Present one banana, two bananas .Let the Ss summarize the plural Forms of the general nouns. (plus “s”) and then read.

2.According to the pictures, present the words child/children woman/women man/men . Let the Ss summarize the plural forms of the special words.and then read aloud.

3.According to two phrases “many bananas/ many people”, let the Ss summarize the charactors of “many/ people”and then read . 4.Explain the important sentence:

They are on their way to Beijing. (用红色来突出they their Beijing,让学生试着说出它们的关系。并做练习)

Danny is on ____ way to Shanghai.

Jenny is on _____ way to Beijing.

5.Ask the Ss to write down the new words we have learned.

6.Look at the following questions ,listen to part 1 and then answer the questions.

Q1: When do they arrive in Beijing?

Q2: What do they see on their way to the hotel?

Q3: What do you know about Beijing?

7.Listen to part 1 again ,repeat it and find out the past participle of fly/play/sing/dance/do/run .

Step 3: Practice

Look at the following six pictures on page 21 and make six dialogues. For example: ---What are the children doing?

---They are playing basketball.

Step 4: Homework

Make ten sentences using the Present Continuous Tense
