1. 介绍西方重要的传统节日，谈论节日话题。

2.学习句型和日常用语。At Easter, children usually eat chocolate eggs. Halloween is on 31st October. Trick or treat? B.语言技能：

1. 能听懂并会读介绍西方主要节日的小短文。

2. 能介绍复活节、万圣节、感恩节和圣诞节，包括节日日期和主要活动等。

3. 能结合语境写出正确的句子，并描述节日时间及主要活动。

教学过程：

Ⅰ、Warm-up

1、Greetings. 2、Read the title.

3、Enjoy a song: Jingle bells. Ⅱ、Review: 1.

复习并介绍Christmas 和the Spring Festival两个重要节日。

（设计意图：通过歌曲引出Christmas，及Western ,并学习这个新词。）

Talk about ：

What Chinese festivals do you know? What’s your favorite Chinese festival? What do people usually do at that festival? Ⅲ、Presentation and Practice: 1、T: What Western festivals do you know?

S1: ... 2、T introduce New Year's Day. 3、Learn to say the four new words: Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving,

Christmas. （设计意图：整体输入四个节日的名称，听音跟读，同时板贴词条。）
