教学目标:

A.知识目标:

1. 介绍西方重要的传统节日,谈论节日话题。

2.学习句型和日常用语。At Easter, children usually eat chocolate eggs. Halloween is on 31st October. Trick or treat? B.语言技能:

1. 能听懂并会读介绍西方主要节日的小短文。

2. 能介绍复活节、万圣节、感恩节和圣诞节,包括节日日期和主要活动等。

3. 能结合语境写出正确的句子,并描述节日时间及主要活动。

教学重点:

词汇学习:western,turkey

句型复习:At Easter, children usually eat chocolate eggs. Halloween is on 31st October. 教学难点:

几个主要节日的拼写、读音以及相关文化背景。

能根据本课的学习内容,表达出自己最喜爱的节日。

教学准备:多媒体课件、单词卡、点读机等。

教学过程:

Ⅰ、Warm-up

1、Greetings. 2、Read the title.

3、Enjoy a song: Jingle bells. Ⅱ、Review: 1.

复习并介绍Christmas 和the Spring Festival两个重要节日。

(设计意图:通过歌曲引出Christmas,及Western ,并学习这个新词。)

Ask students to talk about the Spring Festival. 3.

Talk about :

What Chinese festivals do you know? What’s your favorite Chinese festival? What do people usually do at that festival? Ⅲ、Presentation and Practice: 1、T: What Western festivals do you know?

S1: ... 2、T introduce New Year's Day. 3、Learn to say the four new words: Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving,

Christmas. (设计意图:整体输入四个节日的名称,听音跟读,同时板贴词条。)

4、Listen and watch the video of the Western festivals (P68), then read and check: T or F? (设计意图:通过观看视频来进行判断,以培养学生的阅读理解能力。)

Listen and read .Then complete the form. (设计意图:听录音跟读。之后,通过师生会话,完成板书的表格,培养学生的口语表达能力。依次出现四幅节日图,学习不同节日的相关内容及单词turkey同时通过歌曲和视频介绍让学生了解并学习本课的重点句子。)

6、Read it together. Ⅳ、Consolidation 1、Pair work.( T-S1示范, S1-S2 ) S1: What is your favorite Western festival?
