Step 1 Warming up 1. Greetings: greet to each other. 2. Sing the ABC song. Step 2 Lead in 1. Use the PPT to review some words: hello, hi, you, I 2. Do and say “Point to ‘hello’”. Lead the students to say the sentence. Then teach the new word “point”. Then

practice the new word: one by one,row by row... Ask the to write down the word. 3. Say the chant in Activity 1: Point to “hello”, point to “hi”, point to “you”,and point to “I”. Clap and say the chant. Step 3 New words 1. Use the PPT to show the new word “door”. Ask the students to spell the word. Then teach them how to read. Practice the word: boys and girls, row by row, line by line... Ask them to write down it with the Chinese meaning. 2. Make a sentence with the new word : Point to the door. Say and do the sentence. 3. Find a little teacher to say the sentence, others follow. 4. Teach another new words in the same way: window, blackboard. 5. Make a chant about the new words and sentences: Door, door, door, point to the door. Window, window, window, point to the window. Blackboard, blackboard, point to the blackboard. Step 4 The text 1. Play the tap, ask the students to listen carefully. 2. Follow the teacher to read the dialogue.
